Pecios en la zona de Isla Grosa y Cabo de Palos:

 

  •  

    • Barco mercante fenicio. Naufragó en el año 260 AC en el bajo de la campana. Transportaba colmillos de elefantes y minerales para el comercio en el mediterráneo. Hundido a unos 20 metros de profundidad .
    • Lillia Dubild. Vapor italiano naufragó el día 13 de octubre de 1917 entre El Estacio y la Isla Grosa, a tres millas de la costa. Hundido a  35 metros de profundidad.

    • Doris. Vapor italiano hundido el mismo día cerca del anterior.
    • Monte Toro. Vapor español que se hundió el 7 de agosto de 1937 en la Laja del Farallón de la Isla Grosa.
  • Pecios en la zona de Cabo de Palos:
    •  Desconocido. Un vapor francés de nombre desconocido, hundido a  octubre de 1918 a 12 millas de Cabo de Palos y a más de 100 metros de profundidad.
  • Pecios en la zona de la Playa de La Mata
    • Ville de Verdún: Hundido por un submarino alemán a 4 millas de la playa de la Mata, en 54 metros de sonda. Es llamado localmente “ el vapor de los cacahuetes".
  • Pecios en las zonas de las Islas Hormigas:
    • Minerva. Hundido en 1899 en el Bajo de Fuera. Sus restos se encuentran a una profundidad de entre 30 y 50 metros, junto al islote de la Hormiga.
    •  Primo. Vapor italiano hundido el 17 de diciembre de 1916 en las Hormigas.Ser hicieron trabajos de extracción en 1940.
    • Atlantic City. Vapor norteamericano hundido el 12 de septiembre de 1917 a tres millas al Sudeste de las Islas Hormigas. Se encuentra a 100 metros de profundidad.
    • Gilsa. Vapor noruego hundido a cuatro millas de las Hormigas el día 10 de enero de 1917. Se encuentra también a unos 100 metros.
    • Urd. Vapor inglés que se hundió el 12 de septiembre de 1917, como el Atlantic City, y a unas cuatro millas al Sur de las Hormigas. Está a una profundidad de 100 metros.
    • Dospina Micolina. Vapor griego que se hundió un día después, el 14 de octubre de 1917 entre las islas Grosa y Hormigas a unos 70 metros de profundidad.
    • Doris. Vapor italiano hundido el mismo día cerca del anterior.
    • Nitza. Vapor griego hundido también en las Hormigas.
    • Wilmore. Vapor americano que naufragó el 10 de septiembre de 1917 a cuatro millas al Sur de las Hormigas y se hundió a 90 metros de profundidad.
    •  Kansega. Vapor inglés hundido a 1 milla al Nordeste de las Hormigas a unos 60 metros. En 1940, otro vapor italiano realizó trabajos de salvamento del Kansega y del Primo.
    • Sirio: Trasatlántico hundido en el bajo de la Hormiga.4--8-1906.

    When I originally pcekid up my iPad 2 from the Apple store, I ended up picking up the smartcover as well. I kept it initially because there was nothing else available in the market. I gradually started really liking the smartcover given it's low profile. The big issue I had with the smart cover was that it didn't cover the back of the iPad, which made me very nervous I mean the smartcover is not the most secure cover to begin with from a protection point of view. I looked everywhere possible, online, malls, stores, but didn't find anything that was compatible with the smartcover. All cases were fitted for the iPad 2 by itself. I came across this Splash case in my search, sent the company an email asking if this was compatible with the smartcover, and they were very candid in their response when they said the case could work if I made two small cuts in it around the smartcover hinges, but it wasn't exactly designed to work that way. I took my chances and ordered two of these in different colors anyway. The cases came in earlier today and I sat down with the cases, my iPad 2 , smartcover, and a pair if scissors to see if I had found the answer. I measured the space for the hinges and made the appropriate cuts in this case, fortunately the material was not very difficult to cut into. Tucked the iPad 2 (with smartcover on) into the case, and the fit is perfect!! This case is EXACTLY what I had been looking for tirelessly for the past 2 weeks! The smartcover is actually a lot more secure in this case because the magnetic strips fit inside the material of the case securely. The case itself has a very low profile, which I like. So now I have both the front and the back of my iPad 2 protected, and it's still slim to carry around conveniently. One suggestion I would make is to take your time making just the right cut on the case so that the smartcover still fits, and the back of your iPad 2 is also completely covered. I was a little reckless with the black case and I made the mistake of making a slightly larger than required cut on the back. I was more careful with the transparent case and that one, combined with the smartcover, look like one case it's impossible to tell the two apart at the seams. I'll see if I can post pictures of my masterpieces to show the results. Between the black and transparent, I prefer the transparent one because the iPad's back shows right through it and it looks slick! But that's entirely a personal preference. Hope this helps if you, like me, are looking for a case compatible with a smartcover.
